What Cubey is

Cubey helps you see and cut the added sugar you eat. It estimates sugar from photos, barcodes, labels and text. Estimates can be wrong. Always check the label if it matters to you.

Not medical advice

Cubey gives general information about added sugar. It isn't medical advice and doesn't diagnose, treat or prevent any disease. If you have diabetes, an eating disorder, are pregnant or have any other medical condition, talk to a doctor before changing your diet. Don't use Cubey's numbers to dose medicine such as insulin.

Who can use Cubey

You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live, or have a parent or guardian agree for you.

Subscriptions

• Cubey costs $7.99 a month or $59.99 a year. See pricing. Taxes may be added depending on where you live.
• There's no free trial. Your subscription starts when you pay and renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
• You can cancel anytime. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
• If you buy through the App Store or Google Play, Apple's or Google's terms also apply, and you manage or cancel your subscription in their settings.
• If you buy on our website, our order process is handled by Paddle.com, our online reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle handles payment, billing, taxes and refunds for those orders, and Paddle's buyer terms also apply.
• If we change prices, we'll tell you before your next renewal. You can cancel before the new price applies.
• Refunds are covered in our refund policy.

Your account and content

You're responsible for what you put in Cubey, including the first name you show to your circle and the league. Don't use a name that's offensive, impersonates someone or breaks the law. We may hide or remove names and remove people from circles or the league if they're reported or break these terms.

Don't misuse Cubey

• Don't try to break, overload or get around Cubey's limits or security.
• Don't fake points or scans, or use bots or scripts.
• Don't copy, resell or reverse engineer the app or its food data.
• Don't harass other people through circles, cheers or the league.

Cubey's content

The app, the Cubey character, the artwork and the food data belong to us. You can use them only to use Cubey for yourself.

Ending your use

You can stop using Cubey and delete your data anytime from Settings. We may suspend or close access if you break these terms. Cancel your subscription separately so you aren't charged again.

No guarantees

We work hard to make Cubey accurate and reliable, but it's provided "as is". We don't promise it will always be available, error free or right about every food, or that you'll get a particular result.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for Cubey in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top and, for important changes, tell you in the app or by email. If you keep using Cubey after a change, the new terms apply.
